Hope Cleaning

Growing up the daughter of an immigrant, Rachel Ward’s business deeply reflects her roots. In 2013, she co-founded Hope Cleaning Inc., which provides meaningful employment opportunities for members of Calgary’s most vulnerable populations. This includes single moms, newcomers to Canada, and women escaping violence. Our purpose is to give dignity through employment, and to partner with our staff to build their legacy. Rachel is passionate about empowering women to reach their potential.

Rachel believes that work is a gift, one that everyone deserves to have. Through Hope Cleaning, she has helped create more than seventy jobs for women that have worked hard to rise above their circumstances. Some of these women have even left social assistance all- together. When asked to describe her greatest contribution, Rachel says “I create opportunities for women. When they take them it makes all the hard work worth it.
